Try using an alternative media player like VLC Media player.
This player will play just about any video known to man!
Or you can us MPC (Media Player Classic.)

You can download these from the links below.

Good luck.

Reason 1. The AVI file could be damaged.
Reason 2. Maybe the AVI media player is failed to function properly. In this case, you may want to reinstall the media player or replace it with another best AVI player alternative , such as Leawo Blu-ray Player
Reason 3. Probably the faulty AVI codecs cause errors.

That sounds like you don't have the proper codec to play AVI files. Even if you haven't had problems with AVI's before these files may be DIVX avi's instead of the usual Xvid. Download the full codec pack here: http://www.codecguide.com/download_kl.htm and install it. Restart your computer and try again and you shouldn't have any problems.

How do I copy a video file from my cell phone's device memory to a micro SD card?

Your video is stored on your phone's micro SD card already. Remove the micro SD card in your phone and mount it in your computer, Ipad or tablet. You may need an adapter. Once you have removed and stored the file you can transfer it to any other device or SD card or manipulate the video file in your computer. Or you can try a direct USB connection from your phone to a computer. May need an adapter cord for that.
All else fails - open a free account with Dropbox and upload your video file from the phone. Store it there and distribute as you see fit. Sometimes you can send a large file with a text message, also.

Films on usb have no sound

suggest downloading as many Android media players onto the TV from Google playstore and try them all. There will be some AVI files that just don't play on Android you might be able to convert avi to another video format with a file converter program.
Suggest VLC player but it is troublesome on android operating systems.
might work on your laptop or computer for the avi file.

I have the Everio 30BG and have downloaded all the files onto my computer, however there is a message showing 'insufficient space' when I try to record, and yet there are not files. HELP>

Are you saving to the micro SD card or to the HDD? You need to go into your menu options to ensure that you are saving to the HDD automatically. Sometimes I used to save to the SD for pics and the HDD for video (set up in the menu). Maybe you are deleting the HDD files but automatically recording to the full SD card?! Check

I uploaded pics from my computer onto my Camera SDPhotosmart M537

If I understand you correctly, you put pics onto the SD card using the computer, then put the card in the camera and now can't see the pics? Is that correct? The camera won't recognize the pics because it uses a different recording system than the computer. Now if you want to take more pictures using that card, you will need to format it in the camera first.
