Question about Microsoft Windows XP Professional
Fixing Friends computer after he got a bunch of malware.
After, I keep getting a ''Generic Host Process for Win32 Services has encountered a problem and needs to close'' error
I've run Spybot S&D, Adaware, norton AV scan, Kaspersky AV scan. Removed all they detected.
Tried the suggestion of turning of the windows auto update on another post, it didn't work. (from http://www.fixya.com/support/t1900699-generic_host_process_win32_services)
On a hp dv8000. intel cpu t2500 2.0ghz, 2gig ram, windows xp pro sp3.
Here is my Hijackthis Log.
(Was to long to post directly)

Try uninstalling all of the drivers that aren't directly associated to your primary hardware. Possible troublemakers would be the network card and printers.
Please rate, Thanks!

Save hours of searching online or wasting money on unnecessary repairs by talking to a 6YA Expert who can help you resolve this issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
