Connect the correct size tubing to the 90 degree drain on the left side of the unit(above water tray) and knock out plastic cutout on the rear of dehumidifier. Feed into drain.

I have a Maytag M7DH65B2A. I hooked up a hose to

Had the same problem. Make sure you tighten the house a little with pliers. Also, make sure the dehumidifier is up a lot higher than where you're draining it into. Mine drains into a utility sink. But I have the dehumidifier propped up onto a dresser. I cut a small piece of hose to run into the sink. Seems to be working now.

It will take 5 min or so to establish a water flow, so be patient after you hook everything up. Good luck.

M7dh65b2a dehumidifier is icing up

The clip that holds the sensor also rusted out on my M7DH65B2A (Rev-A-R) last year. How to reinstall the sensor with no clip? I used a pair of pliers to crimp/squeeze the sensor a bit. This makes it thin enough so that it could be positioned between a pair of coils, using a pair of pliers. I don't think this has ruined the sensor as the unit generally works well, except when room temperature drops into the low 60's farenheit. Best of luck.
