Those buttons dont stop whats in the queue. You need to go to your printer icon, right click and select the first tab on the list, from there, you will see all the files being dumped to the printer, right click file and select delete, this will erase everything in the buffer.

thanks adi

Canon Pixma iP 6600D printing problem.. went to print a scanned document .... paper began to feed in askew from autopaper feeder . Printing process stopped. the process was repeated a couple more times...

To fix the paper feed problem, Clean / rub each roller with a damp cloth with a dab of detergent.
Check for paper residue , especially near the paper empty flag,
Then reset the printer:
First power off the printer. Next, while holding STOP/RESET button, power on the printer.
While holding POWER button, release STOP/RESET button. Then push STOP/RESET button twice.
Wait about 20-30 second until the LED shows "0?. Then push STOP/RESET button four times.
Finally push POWER button twice. Last step is to turn off the printer by pressing the POWER button one last time.

HP DeskJet 1560 - multiple paper feed

This link may not help you to print duplex, but it will possibly explain why you're having problems...Make sure you fan the paper before loading it. You might try putting a fan on it to dry out the ink as it prints...or try a heavier paper. Good luck! If you google duplexer feed problem you'll see this is the subject of numerous patents and attempts to resolve the very difficulty you are having.
(Maybe another of the same model would work better? Hp should exchange it if it's not working, no?)

I hope this information allows you to resolve this issue. If you need further assistance, please post back with a comment to this thread.

Can't figure out how to print on statement sized paper.

After I had been attempting to adjust the paper guides in the feeder tray to accommodate statement-size paper, I finally "discovered" the drop-down door to the manual feed tray.  Duh!  This is a networked printer that I've only ever used for printing letter and legal sized documents until now.

Chronic paper jams

If it appears to start printing sucks up a sheet a little way and then stops red light on etc try the waste toner trick. I was plagued by this problem for ages then took out the waste toner container sucked out the dust with a vacuum cleaner stuck it back no more jams. It is less a jam than the thing just getting an error from the waste toner. The other thing could be the paper feed roller. There is a rubber on this that grips the paper and feeds it if it is worn then the paper wont feed. I flipped it over kind of turning it inside out to get a fresh smooth side that will grip and feed the paper. If you are a little dextrous then it isnt a difficult job. Had two of these and problems on paper feed with both. The toner is expensive the waste container at a tenner is a ridiculous price. Still the second one was bought as it was cheaper to get the whole printer with toner than a 4 colour toner pack, I use it for spares! email if you want to try the feed roller trick.

MP600 not detecting the paper

The above solution is very detailed and informative. It's great. Thanks. Also, a good first step is to check the paper feed to make sure it is set to the correct loader. Sounds stupid but easily overlooked.
