I have recently installed 8 Trilogy 2800 touch pad door locks. I am programmiing from the Alarm Lock DL Windows program on my PC via their data transfer module to each lock unit. You are supposed to be able to load programming for up to 200 locks in the transfer module and go around and program each lock. I am not able to do this as information from one lock ends up in another lock and the schedule is corrupted and the doors do not lock or unlock correctly. To try and resolve the problem I started only programming one lock at a time which has helped the issue, but I still have some information from other locks transfering to where it should not be. The DL Windows program is version 3.6.3 running on Windows XP. The data transfer module is a Alarm Lock DTM 3. The local vendor is at a loss as what to do and the Alarm Lock company thinks we are nuts. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Mark
If you can load DL windows onto a laptop instead of a PC, you can program directly to each lock using a AL-PC12 cable which connects from a 9-pin serial com port on your computer, to the 2-pin banana plug on the lock.(be sure to observe polarity). Cable is available from Alarm Lock. Some very useful downloads and information is available on their website - www.alarmlock.com
I hope this helps!

Thanks for the response. We figured out that there was a problem with the DL program on my PC and did just what you suggested and went to a lap top unit. Programming issues resolved. The direct connection is what we will now use, however it even let us program correctly using the DTM unit.
