What model Uniden DECT 6.0 phone? What's blinking? The entire display or just the message light? If it's the message light then you have unheard messages on the voicemail system provided by your telephone company. This system records messages when someone calls while you're already on the phone. Please contact your telephone company for instructions on accessing their voicemail system.

Hello...the blinking light not only shows the bending sms but if you enable the "sleep mode" this light too blinking periodically.So, if you do not wish to blink the light and if there is no sms bending in the inbox....just disable the "sleep mode" from the phone setting.Good luck.thanks for visiting fixya

My O2 Atom on normal mode binks in blue colour and there is a missed call or sms blinks in orange (or red). from yesterday it blinks in green on normal mode. Can you please tell me why? Anything wrong?
The notification lights indicate:
Blinking Blue - Bluetooth On
Blinking Yellow - WiFi On
Blinking Green - GSM (Phone) On
Blinking Red - Unread message
Continuous Red - Charging

Blinking green when your GSM (phone) is on is the expected behavior.

Charger light
I had this same problem and all I did was to unplug the DC adapter at the phone and plug it back in after a few seconds. The solid charge light came on immediately, like usual. I let the battery charge for several hours before using the handset again.
