maybe your phone is locked by operator.
if your phone network is open lock or not locked by operator it may come from the phone security validation.

3110c is Base Band 5 series or we usualy call BB5.
this phone have security inside the Rap3G and the Nor Flash.

if the data inside the Nor Flash not match with the data from Rap3G then the phone imei will be 1234565454

but the phone should be accept the sim card if only the imei is corrupt.
why? cause the simlock data is writen in the Permanent Memory or PM group 308.
so if the phone reject the sim card maybe the PM 308 is corrupt.

forcing erase phone can make the data inside NOR flash like MCU and security (IMEI and the PM 308) erased from the phone.
after refaslh the phone, the phone will alive but the security data is removed.
and when the watchdog inside the phone found the phone dont have the correct data, then the phone will automaticly shut down in 30 minutes. if you put charger on phone, it will faster the WatchDog timer to 3 minutes, or you play the music from the phone it alsi faster the WD timer to 3 minutes.

how to recover the security data?
read ASK data (Ask Security Key) and send it to the Nokia and it will be RPL data and write this data to your phone.
this ASK to RPL services is not free, and you need dongle to make this job.

PUK- stands for PIN UNBLOCKING KEY.. well this happen only when u enter an invalid passcode when u enable a password protection for ur sim card. this is different when u miss entering codes on your phone lock. note: "sim locks", and "phone locks" are different from each other. sim locks only allows u 3 tries and after that a PUK will be required. while phone locks dont have any limit. so if thats the case.. ur only hope is the manual that comes with your sim cad. in there u can access for ur PUK and after entering that successfully u can now access ur sim card. but if not, u have to buy another sim card or change another number. but u can still use your phone.. -jepoyPH

I have just tried it with my new locked to orange g600 and it works fine on all networks.

1-Turn on the phone without sim card .
2-Pull off the battery cover and insert any non-accepted sim card (without turning off the handset)
3-Do full reset *2767*3855# , phone will reboot and goes to Menu .
4-Customize Sp-lock code *7465625*638*00000000*00000000#
5-Unlock your phone with new SP code #7465625*638*00000000#
6-Enjoy G600 unlocked
if it doesn't work after step 3.. try changing the 'non-accepted' sim card that ur putting in..
eg if you are locked to vodafone and you try this method and use an orange sim card and it doesn't work, try using a o2 sim or even virgin :)

well, you can choose to use a 'PIN code' or a 'Lock code' or 'Memory card lock'

1. PIN code actually locks up your SIM card, so anywhere you put your SIM card, the message on your SIM card will not be read by anybody without knowing your password. It'll ask you password each time you switch on your phone, but after switched on, it'll not be locked anymore, so anyone can read your phone after switched on.

2.while Lock code, locks your mobile phone like 'keypad lock', the different is, instead of just pressing , left softkey and * button, you need to put password on it (it lock after certain idle time - or you can choose to lock it anytime you want by pressing the on-off switch one time (don;t press too long) and choose the belowest which said lock phone ). this type of lock is commonly used.

3.Memory card lock, locks any application which access your memory card, such as images, text, songs, data that is stored on your memory card. but this type of lock, often bring troubles when the memory card get corrupted. so I suggest number 2 type of lock (lock code)



WARNING!!! all password should be remembered, as if you forgot those password, no body can help you unless technician.. see those articles which people post when they forget their password, so you know the risk and the consequences. But they're actually safe as long as you remember ^^

Either you need to put a code in the phone to accept any new sim card or the the phone sounds like it has been reported lost or stolen or the previous sim card had the wrong pin number inputted causing the phone to lock and then the right PUK number was not entered. These are different types of codes.
SIM pin code:
This is a pin code that locks the sim card until you enter the correct code. This protects your account, even
if your sim is put into another handset.
Phone Security Code:
This locks the handset, as opposed to the sim card. Some phones will accept incoming calls with this lock
enabled, but many require the code to be entered even to answer a call. You can also set some handsets to
only accept a "new" sim if the phone security code is entered.
Which is the one that you want?

Not enough memory means your phone is too full of data IE. Pics, Themes, Contacts, Applications, Games etc...
The phone needs a certain amount of memory to function.
