My ht5 dryer will start and run it gets hot and all but it will suddenly stop the lights will flash and the the power shuts off like a completed cycle but the clothes are still wet. I just watched it run for about 7minutes out of 47 scheduled minutes. no codes and timer still shows time remaining, thinking door sensor or control panel.

There is a sensor bar usually two on the inside of the dryer either in the front where the lint trap is or in the back right corner u will have to take the machine apart to ensure that the wire is firmly connected to thsoe sensor bars that would be the first thing i would recommend u check symptoms are itruns for about ten minutes and cuts off and clothes are still damp but time cycle works fine.

I would like to thank the ones who responded to giving me a 'hand' in repairing my dryer. I did like you said & changed out the coils & now the dryer is working like it should.

With an error code.
This can reset the system.
First unplug the washer and wait a 5 minutes then restart it.
It's like rebooting your computer when its acting strange!
Usually it corrects some error problems.
if they are not serious, or they are a temp glitch!




How old is the appliance?

If the appliance is 10 years old or more you it may not be advisable to put good money into bad!
New appliances are so much more efficient today that they can save you a lot of money in energy!!!!
Water,Electric and detergent! And put money back in your pocket!
The new appliance will pay for itself in only a few years!

Start any cycle. Dryer runs for 10 to 15 minutes, then stops before cycle is complete. Start again, stops again in 10 to 15 minutes.
