Do you have the print option ? If not, you can configure everything, print jobs will show up on the cue, but they will just disappear into space. The print option looks like a USB key attached near where the network attaches to the copier.

SOURCE: Toshiba 281C Bypass tray

Problem isn't "solved", but have realized that the issue is related to the fact that the document I am trying to print is formatted for envelopes. When I print a regular word document (letter) it prints fine to the Bypass tray. It must have something to do with the fact that the document is 1000 envelopes. If I print to a PDF file, then print the document to the Bypass Tray I don't seem to have a problem.

SOURCE: Toshiba eStudio 2830c-getting a light line across

Hello sir; Is the stripes allway in same place and you use document feeder to copy, then you have to clean up a piece stripe glass on the plateform, otherwise ,you have to change drum cleaning blade or drum cartridge.

HOW DO I PRINT A BROCHURE

You can put special media on side bypass feed tray. Then select paper type/thickness. Choose the bypass tray and paper type when sending print job from your PC. Job status light will blink and you need to go to the copier to execute the print job for special paper.

When i scan a document it won't email it

Usually this is not a problem with the copier, but mostly its network related. First switch off the device and remove the power from the socket for 10-20 seconds and than switch it on again. If still doesn't send after 3-5 minutes make sure that all necessary settings are correct (SMTP address, etc...) Most of the device needs more than a minute to fully initialize the network interface after turning on the unit's power, so always wait a few minutes before you scan or print. If you recently changed your Internet Service Provider it is possible that you need use a different SMTP address.

Even though my printer settings are set to print and use the paper in tray 1 - the printer wants to pull from the bypass tray (which always pulls crooked). The printer used to work just fine then the alert...

Two things to check for a problem like this:
1) Driver Settings:
If your computer's drivers are telling the machine to pull from the bypass tray it'll ignore the machine settings. You're kind of on your own here figuring it out, if you can't though then try deleting the printer from the computer and re-installing it (will default settings)

2) Manual Feed sensor:
When you put paper into the bypass try you're activating a flag which tells a sensor there's paper there, if this flag is stuck forcing the sensor to constantly think you have paper there it would always to pull from there. Find the flag, move it back and forth, hit it with some air from a can of air.

Toshiba Estudio166 networking issue

Toshiba es166 is local USB printer. You can print from designated PC and you have to share printer if you want to print from other printer in your network. Because of low machine memory (16Mb) it could be some conflicts,if you use more than 2 PC in network. That is why Toshiba has es167 model on which you can add network print controller. You can also use USB hub if you want to print from more PC's. (only 2 brands of USB hubs provide this, see toshiba site)

Can't select 'Bypass Tray' as a print option.

That's strange. I just downloaded it to see what might need to be done, and the bypass tray was available, and it's a standard feature, so it doesn't have to be manually added or anything. I, however, used the Ricoh driver which is identical, because Ricoh owns Gestetner (in case you didn't know) so you may try installing that one. maybe it's a glitch in the Gestetner driver package. The comparable model is Ricoh AP 4510, and you can get it here. I hope this helps:
