Run the software calibration for easy diagnostic and fix it. Lube the incline mechanism. Go to Hood cover motor and follow the steps or read your owner manual.
God bless you

Testimonial: "Ernesto, thank you, but we don't have a manual or anything on it. We've never used it before. It turns on and will let you select programs. What is the "software" calibration. We have no idea."

SOURCE: Image 17.0 treadmill is stuck in incline position

Hello there, The first thing I would try is to calibrate the incline on the unit.
Do this using the following procedure.
With the safety key out, press the stop button along with the speed up button while inserting the safety key onto the unit.
remove your fingers from all buttons, Then press the stop button one time. Now press the incline up button one time.
The unit should go all the way to the top, then return to the bottom.
Remove the safety key and reinsert it to continue using the machine

If this does not work you can manually move the machine to the bottom using this procedure.
Remove the hood cover b removing 2 screws in the rear of the machine and removing the first 2 screws on the foot rails on each side.
You can now lift the cover out of the way.
At this point you will see the incline motor located in the center of the unit pointing in a downward direction.
On the top of the motor there will be a small fan encased inside of a metal cover. There will be a flat head screw located inside the metal frame where the fan is. Rotate this clockwise to lower the unit. (the motor is geared very high it may not seem as though it is moving but it is) be patient that procedure does take a little while.
Any questions please feel free to leave another message on this link.

Good Luck! Tim

SOURCE: Epic treadmill t60 is stuck in max incline how do

Usually when stuck at the max up position it indicates that you may need a new incline motor. It is not the sensor. I have been repairing treadmills for 15 years and incline sensors seldom if ever go bad. If can isolate the incline motor using a 110 volt power cord, this may un-jam the motor and get it back down to 0%.
I use www.treadmillpartszone.com for parts.

My Reebok Jet 200 is stuck at an incline

If your Reebok Jet 200 treadmill is stuck at an incline and you are unable to lower the incline to the 0 position, there are a few things you can try to fix the problem:
  1. Check the incline motor and make sure that it is properly installed and functioning. If the motor is damaged or not functioning properly, it may be causing the incline to remain stuck.
  2. Check the incline control board and make sure that it is properly connected to the incline motor and other treadmill components. If the control board is damaged or not functioning properly, it may be causing the incline to remain stuck.
  3. Check the incline cable and make sure that it is not frayed or damaged. If the cable is damaged, it may be causing the incline to remain stuck.
  4. Check the treadmill's belt and make sure that it is properly aligned and tightened. If the belt is misaligned or loose, it may be causing the incline to remain stuck.
  5. Check the treadmill's power supply and make sure that it is properly connected and functioning. If the power supply is not functioning properly, it may be causing the incline to remain stuck.
If you have tried all of these steps and are still having issues with the incline on your Reebok Jet 200 treadmill remaining stuck, you may want to consult a professional for further assistance. A treadmill repair technician will be able to diagnose the problem and recommend the best course of action to fix it.

My TX400 treadmill is stuck on the incline.., it won’t decline

Hold down the "Stop" button and the "Speed" up button. Insert the safety key into the console then release the "Stop" and "Speed" buttons. Press the "Stop" button then press either the "Incline" up or down button. Wait while the treadmill raises then lowers the incline ramp.

The incline on our Precor c964i is stuck in a high position (approx. 10% incline). Other than being on a high incline, the treadmill seems to be working fine.

Hi There,

Precor uses a pair of Triacs to drive the lift up and down. These triacs live on the lower board but are driven by the upper console commands via a serial link between the upper and lower. Most precor lift issues we see are related to the lower board but with Precor it could be an upper board or the CPU Chip that resides on the lower board or a failed Triac. Good Luck

Treadmill is stuck in incline postion and can not put down. screen says error

Unplug the treadmill. Remove motor cover . Look for the incline motor, follow the wires coming from the incline motor to the controll board. Starting from the top you will see a red, white and black wire. Under those wires you will see a white and black ( do not remove the lower white and black). Remove the red wire and the black wire . Swap the positions. Plug the treadmill back in and turn with the safty key in place.. The treadmill should go back down. Once it's down . Remove all 3 incline motor wires from the controller. This will get it back down so you can use it. It will still give you the incline err , just press stop to bypass it. As for what is causing the problem , a number of thing can cause this problem. I would call sole and ask for a tech in your area unless you're in NC you could call us. Good luck

Incline problem

All icon models are the same. The easiest way to incline calibration is to start the treadmill, push the incline up button and then after you release the button, remove the safety key. Replace the safety key and the treadmill should calibrate.
If that doesn't work, press the stop and speed up buttons and hold, then place the safety key in place. This will bring you to the speed/incline calibration. Press stop again. now press incline up. This will run the incline calibration.
You may need to remove the hood and manually with a drill lower the motor. Using a slot screwdriver bit, lower the motor a bout 50 turns and then try the procedure above again if necessary.
