I went to turn on my Fridgidaire dryer model aeq8000 and it showed the minutes but then it shows LOC and the dryer won't start.

The control panel lock is engaged. This keeps the dryer from being turned on by accident while cleaning the panel (or by a small child). There should be a line with a padlock symbol between two buttons on the control panel indicating the ones to press and hold to toggle the lock feature. On some Frigidaire dryers, the buttons to press and hold are Options and Select. You need to hold the buttons for 10+ seconds. The LOC message should disappear when you have held the buttons for long enough. However, if you do not release the buttons, the lock will toggle back on.

When I turn the dryer on say to 40min,it shows does not come on and it goes to a F1 on the daily

The control is locked to avoid having someone accidentally start or stop the dryer. Press and hold the Options and Select buttons for 10 seconds or until the "LOC" on the display is cleared. Locking the control is done the same way it is unlocked.

Press option and select (button with lock) at the same time and hold for 10-15 seconds.

This just happened to me. I have whirlpool double oven accubake. The display went blank and i had to turn the breaker off. I left it off for several hours. When I turned the breaker back on my oven display read "Loc" in big letters to the right of the time. I held the start button down for 5 secs. The display went away and the oven started to work as if nothing had happened. I hope that is stays that way.
