My phone was turning on and off when I was trying to use my phone and then last night it shut completely down and wont even come on when I try to charge it or hold the power button on. what is the problem and what do I need to do.

Have you attempted using a different charger? Also, what model of phone do you have?

You could try a hard reset.

Hold down the power button and the home button at the same time until the device completely shuts down and the Apple logo appears.

Did you crash into something? If so, the battery and/or wiring near it is probably damaged.Td

Anything that has to do with phone not turning on is a power problem.

Therefore, there is every tendency that your power button is not contacting the phone board well and maybe that's why it cannot power.

You can loose the phone and try putting it on directly from the phone board without the power button.

But if you know you cannot do it yourself, then maybe you should take it to a repair to check it for you.

try to umplug the modem from the motherboard last pci slot on the botom of the case if that works ok if not try new power supply if still not working problably bad motherboard thanks

well i got my se k 810i replaced 2 times then i finally sold it..So ur phone is in warranty. njoy the warranty and when it is replaced sell it without using it u will get better price. Mean while buy a cheap nokia phone. u even throw it on floor a\nd nuthing will happen to nokia

Have you tried doing a hard shut down? Hold the silver button down on the upper right corner and also the home button (center,bottom indented button) together for about 10 seconds. the phone will completly shut off. then wait about 10 seconds and hold down the upper right hand button until the apple appears on the phone then release the button and wait (20-30seconds) . Doing this usually solves all my issues with my iphone when it gets locked up like this.

If there is no power at all, then the problem is likely the power supply unit.
The PSU must be tested, then eventually replaced.
