Most likely the fuse for the effects circuit has blown, which happens sometimes on mixers with built in effects.

You'll have to open the mixer as the fuse will be inside the mixer on a circuit board (look around inside where the effects part of the mixer is) replace it with an identically rated working fuse and you should be done.

Behringer djx700 has no bass

Check that all the eqs are set not to cut bass, check there are no effects on and that the XPQ is off. If you still have the problem how sure are you there is no bass coming from the mixer? Have you tried it with another amp? We had one hire customer who had the same problem you describe and his amp had a crossover and it was set to act as a mid/top amp and wasn't giving him any bass, unsurprisingly, switching it back to full range sorted it.

Had a djx700 mixer for a couple of years now, brilliant mixer when it works fully!! the latest problem is that after 30 mins + the sound drops from 1 channel also the area underneath the power supply is...

Open the unit and search for a hot chip with your finger on the failing side.

One of the chips or circuitry is likely drawing too much current. I have seen traces on a circuit board start to short out and cause this due to spillage of liquid in a mixer.

You could use circuit cooler to cool suspect chips to see if it restores. This would be a quick way to isolate bad chip.

My behringer djx700 does not work properly 2 use the effects u have 2 plug an rca into the booth output on the back but then nothin else works and i can only here my left turntable in my head phones there...

Semiconductor things involved with sending the booth signals into the mains are:

IC2 which is a 5241 gate controlled by MIC_ON.

IC30 4580 summer for MIC and BOOTH.

IC53 4580 inversion and gain control.

IC39 4580 MAIN output drivers.

Effects doesnt scroll?

You MAY have to exit the mode first to change it... Try pressing the sync-lock button to exit the mode before changing.

The D2 PROBABLY means "delay 2"... although the documentation is really poor... One has to read between the lines...

My effects on the behringer djx 700 dj mixer stop working how

This is a wild educated guess.

I repaired a Behringer guitar amp that had a DSP effects in it (BX1200 I believe).

The effects were on a seperate board and the board had its own 5 volt power supply. The filter capacitor for the 5 volt power on the board was UNDERSIZED and it had degraded causing the 5 volts to drop out of regulation, dipping to 4 volts. This caused the DSP effects to fail.

YOUR device MAY use the same DSP OR design.

Check the 5 volt power with an OSCILLOSCOPE to look for dips below the 5 volt operating point that occur at 120 HZ.

I need a wiring diagram for the main circuit board in a behringer djx700 mixer

Behringer only gives schematics to their authorized service people.

I find I can usually trace stuff out as needed as the mixers are a very symetrical repeating circuitry.

Most components are readily available from other sources.

Faulty effects behringer djx700

The effects on the PMP powered mixers flash UNTIL you push in on the selector knob. This way you can dial in the next effect number and then push in later to activate when you want it... Could yours possibly be the same technique?

"effects on" button stopt work after 1 houer!!!! need help

Most likely internal fuse for effects module has blown. look inside the mixer for the blown fuse (it'll be near the bit that's not working) and replace with a fuse of the same rating,
