The program light goes off and the BF162 doesn't start...

Blue led should be off, else the switch is still on but dimmed.

You might try restoring switch to factory default and check manual operation functions. Then program.

Make sure your 12V grounds to engine and chassis are good.

Old new beetle VW harness has contact resistance problems(vibration of wires) and needs to be recrimped the long wires(vibration can be stopped by silicone rubber anchoring). Cold weather make battery voltages low and needs recharged with handbrake on(headlamps off) 10 minutes warming engine up the whole winter.

First of all that board supports DDR400 (PC3200) so why did you get PC2100 chips?

Anyway, do a bare minimum test (only MB, CPU, RAM & PSU connected, nothing else). Remove all the RAM and test each one individually. Properly insert one into the first RAM slot and test by booting until the POST RAM test is finished. Shutdown and repeat the test with the same RAM module in slot 2 and keep repeating this for every slot. If successful in every slot, mark that module as working then try the other RAM modules using the same procedure.

• As soon as you find one that doesn't fully pass the POST test, mark it as faulty.
• If some pass in one slot but not another, then mark it as faulty.
• If they all fail to pass on a specific slot, mark that slot as faulty and don't use it (you can use electrical tape to cover the slot for future reference).

Once you've finished the bare minimum test, try 2 RAM modules this time (use only the modules that you found to be working from the above tests). Mix and match the RAM modules & then try 3 together and even 4 (if you found all of them to be working fine).

Finally once you're satisfied you've found the modules that work properly, boot with memtest and test the RAM for any problems. If they all seem to work fine individually, boot them individually and test with memtest to determine which ones are actually faulty.

realizing that win xp is no longer supported by microsoft the problem may be that there is now no connection to allow up dates to win xp
if you have service pack3 for xp that is the last update
ring microsoft and find out what is going on

Is your CD dirty or does it have any cracks? It might just be the problem. Otherwise, it could be corrupt game data. Clean the disc, if it still doesn't work I'd try deleting the game utility data and re-downloading it. Hope this helps in some way or another.

Please reset the player and see if this will start back. Also connect to PC and scan the PC for error files, delete and format the memory and load the safe files.

do you have remote start on that truck? if you do, it has a hood safety switch that will keep it from starting if hood is open. That hood switch is quite easily identifyable. Look for it on the drivers side, either close to the firewall or right at the front of the fuse box.itsa worth taking a look
