You do not need a bypass code. Pull out the stereo unit, take the parking brake wire and disconnect it from the parking brake sensor ground. Reconnect it to the radios ground wire and this will tell it that the vehicle is always in park and your videos will work while driving. It must be the stereos ground not just grounded to the frame or something. Must be a live source ground wire.
This unit is designed so that it may be operated only when the vehicle is in “Park” and the parking brake is fully engaged. To this end, this unit includes a parking brake lock-out feature which prohibits the unit from operating if the vehicle is not in “Park” and/or the parking brake is not fully engaged. When installing this unit, the installer must connect the parking brake detect wire (“Yellow-Blue Lead”) to the parking brake mechanism in order to make the parking brake lock-out feature operable. DO NOT simply ground the parking brake detect wire to a metal portion of the vehicle. Failure to properly install the parking brake lock-out feature could lead to driver distraction which could result in serious injury or death to the driver’s occupants or persons outside the vehicle and/or property damage. Once the parking brake lock-out feature is installed, the owner/user must not attempt to disrupt/neutralize the parking brake lock-out feature by (a) partially engaging the parking brake and/or (b) purchasing/using any device or unit designed to send necessary brake signals to the unit. Failure to follow these instructions could lead to driver distraction which could result in serious injury or death to the driver’s occupants or persons outside the vehicle and/or property damage.
you could just earth the system straight to the veihicle, which will then dissengage the play in park feature, here is the website for the online manual
at this time there isn't a code bypass for this model. the easiest thing to do so that you can play video while in motion. is to put a toggle switch on the parking brake wire of the dual screen. then do the ebrake pattern on the switch instead of the ebrake in the car
1. disconnect the parking brake wire of the dual from ur ebrake wire in your car.
2. take your 2 wire toggle switch and connect one wire to Ground(metal)
3. take the other wire and connect it to the parking brake wire of the dual screen.
if i remember correctly, the pattern for the dual screens is.
1. starting in the off position.
2. on for 2 secs
3. off for 2 secs.
4. then on .. the the video will show.
you must ground the yellow and blue stripped wire. Use a switch to act as the parking brake switch and i believe the sequence is off ground off ground or visa versa
make sure you ground the e-brake wire (yellow with blue stripe) then turn the power on, insert a dvd, let it play until you hear a sound, then on the remote press: stop, stop, 2, 6, 6, 0, 4, enter.
