My mother board had to be replaced on my pc that was built for me back in the early 2000's. When I reloaded my HP Officejet J6480 printer the HP Solution Center did not load. The Solution Center has a desktop icon, is listed in the programs and add and remove hardware. When I click on the HP solution Center it tells me that HP devices can not be found. The last time I reloaded the printer from the CD disc that came with my printer it did not give me the desktop icon for the printer. Also in the printer and faxes folder the HP OfficeJet J6480 Fax was not in the folder. Can you tell me what I can do to fix all of these problems so that everything on my HP OfficeJet J6480 All-in-One will work? Thanks Edwina
I always use HP printers and every time i get a new operating system (vista, win7 etc) the HP software does not fully install. I go to HP.com to install the latest software for the appropriate OS but rarely get more than just the printer working. If i require the scanner or cd print features i have to do that from an older computer or older operating system that the printer was originally installed on.
