I am sorry but I have to point out that somehow you did misread the situation. If a computer crashes, after that it is DEAD and NO ACTION will ever come out of it. Your suggestions are valid, but only if the computer came back up. Our client has to check the power supply, starting with the AC plug and checking all the voltages. Tell him to KEEP HANDS OFF THE MOTHERBOARD!It seems that all our clients have falleen in love with the Mother Board and they are liable to have the MB "fried", or damaged beyond the point of repair. They are in love so much with the MB that they give us its number instead the computer information. We help them repair their computer!!!!
I am working to obtain a photo. I have no reason not to do it, but my wife is in charge of the camera, so, I will go to a passport place tomorrow and get it done.
Good luck to us..... CONSTANTIN (arzconst)
If your system is not posting....try these steps...
1.do a complete power cycle(remove all peripherals & disconnect power cable & then press n hold the power buttoon for about 20-25 seconds).then try turning on the system?...if no then,
2.open the cpu & remove memory cards...then try turning on the system?...if no then,
3.remove all hdd data & power cables....then try turning on the system?...if no then,
4.remove all pci,agp cards,if any......then try turning on the system?...if no then,
5.check if the processor power connector is connected on the motherboard correctly or not....then try turning on the system?...if no then,
6.motherboard and the power supply are the culprets & you need to replace these 2 devices.
if this fix the problem, please rate my solution...i will be glad....
