I find spraying Windex window cleaner at them takes them down, also works good on fly's.
Then paper towel to clean up over spray and gnat or fly to the trash.

Fly spray the flies and see where the rest are hanging around. Some food somewhere in your house that has gone bad is a probable cause or a dead animal under the house or in the walls .

the starter on most vehicles is bolted to the bell housing of the gearbox, thats the bit that covers the fly wheel, when the starter spins it shoots out and turns the fly wheel , (cranking the engine)
start by finding the bell housing, also the starter has a direct feed from your battery try following the cables back , remember to disconnect the terminals first , dont want any electric shocks !! hope this helps

Maggots are the larvae that have hatched from insect eggs. Yes, there might be eggs somewhere still in your refrigerator. I would suggest that you locate an insecticide (a bomb type perhaps) and set it off in your refrigerator BUT UNPLUG THE REFRIGERATOR FIRST. Close the doors and let the refrigerator stand for a week. After that time, you will need to carefully wipe down all surfaces with a mild soap solutions. Then rinse well. If there are still lingering odors you can wipe again with baking soda solution or you can place activated charcoal in the refrigerator to absorb the pesticide odor. the starter is located at the bottom rear of the engine, u access it from under the truck.

By flies I take it you mean house flies? If so wait untill night, turn off your tv turn on one very bright light in the room by morning they will be out of the TV to rid your home of flies turn off all lights open the front door turn on the porch light (must be bright white) and they will go to the light then just close the door
