SAMSUNG PCL5415RB 54" IS NOT TURNING ON

This tv have a problems known as a convergence problems,it dead.The tv convergence board the 2 STK convergence ICS and some or all it resistors are dead.These parts must replaced to solved the convergence problems.The shop will cost u $300-350 for parts and labors.

replace convergence IC'S and check values of convergence resistors.

Replace both convergence ICs number STK392-040 You can get replacements at the following link and they will provide free instalation instructions with pics and also give free tech support on line so you can do the repair yourself. Heres the link.

Possible CRT coolant liquid leak onto circuit board.Check
for moisture evidence....................T.

Although I am not incredibly familiar with your model, There is most likely a small board mounted above the others near the crts, there is a small red connector with a blue wire if you unhook it it will remove power from the convergence IC's and if they are shorted it might come up with conv out, will need a new module.
