The alarm and the temperature senor are both broken and need to be replaced for your freezer.

That is a common problem with over-under units. You can clean or replace the door seal or, tilt the unit back a TINY bit. The door pops open because there is a common airway from the freezer to the fridge. When the fridge door shuts too fast, it pushes a lot of air into the unit. It needs to go somewhere so, it pops the freezer door open. If you shut the freezer hard enough, you will be able to pop the fridge door open.

Try unplugging the freezer and leave the door open for about 30 to 45 minutes. Don't forget the door is open and plug the freezer back in. Set a timer in the kitchen so you don't forget. Once you can open the drawers look inside the freezer sides to find the controller. Most models have turn dial inside.

this is happening because of the new gaskets, what you do is lay something against the door or doors overnight and tomorrow they will be great. hopw this helps.

Lets start with why it wont shut off. This seems most likey the thermostat. Turn down the t'stat to 1. if it doesnt shut the compressor off then recommend to replace t'stat. If you do defrost the whole freezer so that when you turn it back on it should take care of the condensation on doors

power to the house was shut off for repairs, when power was restored the freezer part of the fridge stopped working but the compressor still runs.

the door maybe disaligned. Look at the the door side on to see if it has dropped a little. It may just need adjusting.

two things i would check. first would be an obstruction in the freezer compartment. ice bin perhaps. second would be the black plastic door cams that are to help close the door. Each door has two and they are at the bottom. one on the actual hinge and one on the bottom of the door itself.
