All the Emachine's I worked with have a Restore Partition .... might try that first.... after the boot screen hit the F8 key and look for an option called Directory Restore Service.... if you still want the Ethernet Controller Driver try a program called Unknown Device Identifier you can find it on download.com it can help you find the manufacturer and model for your devices ...might be a good start

Dear Cedrich,

I found an "unofficial" e-machines website for you: http://www.e4allupgraders.info/

And the following is a link to your Ethernet driver:

Here is the page for your particular model:

SOURCE: system restore emachines T3504 disc missing,

Is their files that need to be retrieved from the computer? If you were doing a restore they would be lost. You have other options. Your best option is to just purchase a copy of windows xp and install a fresh copy of windows. you will still have to find the drivers on the internet and download and install the. All of this work should really be done by someone who is computer savvy but its really not that difficult.
Let me know if you have other questions.
Thanks,
Lee

I want to do a fyll system restore

Click the Windows "Start" menu and choose "All Programs."

Navigate to "eMachines" and choose "eMachines Recovery Management."
Click the "Restore" tab.

Click "Password Settings" if you have not already set a recovery password.
Type a new password in the text box and click "OK."
Click "Restore System to Factory Default."

Type the recovery password and click "OK."
Click "Next" to wipe the eMachines computer's hard drive and begin the recovery process.

Select "Finish" and wait for the eMachines computer to restart.
Use the series of installation prompts that appear on the screen to create a new user account for your operating system, set the system date and time, and set up your Internet settings.

Hope this helps

Where do i get drivers for t3256 e-machine, drivers to completely r e-install Tower PC

Hello sage_morales,

A backup restore cd should have been created when the computer was first installed. But if you don't have the restore cd then this link on the emachines support site may have helpful information:

I have an emachines t3256 desktop that i just reinstalled windows xp and now i cant get the network adapter to work its onboard and i cant find a driver on their website

Try installing a PCI ehternet card.Turn off the cpu then restart. The cpu will automatically (!?)detect the new hardware and even install the driver(generic). Then there you can get to the internet and get you E-machine drivers. It will also install the driver for your onboard ethernet(NIC) adapter and with that you are good to go.

I FORMATTED MY HARD DRIVE AND REINSTALLED WXP HOME EDIT. AND I CANT GET TO THE INTERNET MY DEVICE MANAGER SAYS ETHERNET CONTROLLER SOFTWARE NOT FOUND. ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED, THANKS TOM...

There is a software disc that all drivers are free gift from Emachines, provided that this CDs is still on your hands.
Use that Software Disc Utility to install unknown LAN or Ethernet Device in your Emachines Desktop.
If your don't have that Disc then you download that freeware LAN drivers to the website manufacturer of Acer Emachines.
Or maybe you don't finish yet installing all devices such as VGA, & etc...
Click this link to open browser: www.acer.com
It's very easy to find out there.
Good luck!
