I have an Acer AL2671W and the stored channel settings for the TV keep resetting themselves to factory defaults... for example. I have tuned the TV to New Zealand settings and got the picture all set and good to go and then a few days later the default values of Australian settings are back and I have to re-scan for the NZ signals again. Only an issue on TV setting, not an issue on AV setting. Cheers Pete

only digital signal is available now analog has been switched off no longer transmitting. You could try returning in all of your channels from the main menu the tv can do this automatically but you need to select the procedure . retune the digital channels only
1. click on the home button
2. scroll sideways till you reach settings
3. in settings scroll down or up and click on digital set-up (centre button of your scroll control)
4.then scroll down to, and click on digital auto tuning (centre button of your scroll control) this will activate automatic channel tuning the tv will do the rest and will wipe out old settings and retune in all channels

Main system control memory IC fault. This is a very small IC; have 8 solder terminals, and can be located very near to the main system control-chroma IC. Check and replace it. Be sure to replace it with the same number printed on it; in all respect. There are two methods to reset TVs. The first is simple to do; a Hard Reset. The other is somewhat skilled; is a Factory Reset (System Reset). To make it a hard reset, just unplug the TV from AC mains wall socket, and re-plug it back after 15 minutes or so. If you do this by overnight is better. This procedure will make it a hard reset. Please go to tuning menu and select Auto Scan/ Auto Tuning to tune all available channels to store in tv memory.
Factory reset actually delete all data/ settings in memory chip and set tv as it was in-box.

you need to replace memory ic, that parts stored your free set channel, consult your product service provider for the availability.

you seem not to have saved them in the first place.
power down then unplu tv and signal imput.then plug back up .then make sure you SAVE channels

TV SETTING
1. Press the MENU button.
2. Use or button to select the TV setting menu, then press or button.
3. Use or button to select the Channel no. setting and use the or button
to change from AIR (over-the-air broadcasts) to CABLE (cable/satellite broadcasts).
4. Use or button to select the Tuning mode and use the or button.
5. Use or button to select the Auto tune and press or button to
confirm the selection. The unit will immediately search through all possible TV
channels and store those channels with signals in memory. After this is complete,
the unit will switch to the first channel found.
6. To exit the MAIN MENU and return to the normal screen, press the EXIT button.
Note : In DVD mode, this option is not available.

1. Channel no. : 2-69 channel for Air mode, 1-125 channel for Cable mode.
2. Tuning mode : Air or Cable mode are available.
3. Auto tune : Searches for usable stations and stores them in memory.
4. Skip : ON - Skip weak channels. OFF - No channel skip.
5. Fine tune : The frequency changes to allow fine tuning.
6. AFC : Auto frequency control.
7. MTS : Select the Mono sound/Stereo sound/Secondary Audio Program (SAP).

This feature allows reception of sound other than the main audio for the program.
1. Press the MENU button.

options (Mono, Stereo, SAP)
4. To exit the MAIN MENU and return to the normal screen, press the EXIT button
on remote control.
Note:
• MTS only operates while in TV mode.
• The SAP (Secondary Audio Programs) feature allows a TV station to broadcast
other information, which could be audio in another language.
RESTORE SETTING
If you reset the TV to the factory settings, all your present settings on picture &
sound will be erased and replaced by the factory’s default settings. However, picture
setting in PC mode and parental setting will not be erased.
