SOURCE: I need a used/remanufactured 50 Amp VSI Controller
Search ebay, you'll find them new and used, and make sure that the connection into the chair matches up with your chair...most will send you a picture of it, and also make sure that the controller is programmed for RWD (Rear Wheel Drive), or you will also need to get a PP1 programmer to reset it for your chair. If it came off of any RWD chair and the connections are the same, it will work on your GO-GO.

Yes prob one of the batteries are bad, but you may want to replace both.
This is the procedure to unlock the controller on a Pride Jazzy:
Locking/Unlocking the VSI
The VSI has a feature that enables you to
lock your power chair to prevent unauthorized use.
To lock the VSI:
1. With the VSI switched on, press and hold the on/off key. After 1 second, the VSI should beep.
2. Release the on/off key.
3. Push the joystick to the full forward position until the VSI beeps.
4. Pull the joystick to the full rearward position until the VSI beeps.
5. Release the joystick. There should be a long beep.
6. The VSI is now locked.
To unlock the VSI:
1. Press the on/off key and power on the VSI. The maximum speed/profile indicator should ripple up and down.
2. Push the joystick to the full forward position until the VSI beeps.
3. Pull the joystick to the full rearward position until the VSI beeps.
4. Release the joystick. There should be a long beep.
5. The VSI is now unlocked.
NOTE: If the above procedure fails to either lock or unlock the VSI, contact your authorized Pride Provider.

Thought I was just entering a title for my post. Here is the full post:
The controller is labeled D50683.01 CTLDC 1414 AP07010399 This is my 102 year old mother in law's chair. She and the staff at her facility say that it runs out of charge too soon. When I look at it and test it, it appears to be normal, with one exception: The 10 light battery condition row of lights does not turn off. When fully charged, they are all on solid. The 4 light row of lights underneath the battery lights go on with the power on button, and off when it is turned off. However, as long as the chair battery is in place, the 10 lights are on. I think when she first got the chair, hitting the off button turned off all the lights. Is this correct, or is the controller operating normally? (The service technician we called to inspect the chair didn't know if the lights should turn off or not. He did replace the batteries and said next step would be to replace the controller.)
