So this is an older model 119 7408210 but I love it 'cause it has a
griddle and a compartment to put my pots & pans in.
The top burners (including the griddle) work but the oven doesn't.
My husband thinks it's the ignitor . I can order it online for $64 but was
wondering if anyone else ever came across this problem.
Tired of eating fried & microwaved food. I need my oven back.

Does the oven not heat? Are you able to program the oven at all? or is the display or read out blank?

First look to see if the ignitor is coming on. Most common problem is the ignitor is weak or just bad. When the power is applied to the ignitor it glows and builds up resistance to open the gas valve then it lights. If the ignitor is weak or bad it will not build up enough resistance for gas to come into the burner. One sign of this would be a "woosh" sound when it trys to light. If the ignitor is coming on but not lighting it is most likely the ignitor is bad. Should have a full glow. Also, if the ignitor looks whiteish in color this is a sign of it going bad. You can compare to the broil ignitor to be sure. If the ignitor doesn't come on at all will need to see if you have power to the ignitor. Let me know what you find and let's solve it before you rate the solution.

if the timer is on hit cancel or reset then hit clock and then use up and down arrows to set them also locate the serial plate and give me the mod num will be a buch of num like 106.48062890 around the bottom drawer on the body of the range or around the oven door if the eoc or clock isnt lit go turn the breaker off for 5sec and let me know

The igniter may need to be replaced again. The only way to know is to test it to see if it has enough amperage to light the gas. If it glows, but no lighting of the gas, get it tested.

is it electronic iginition? are you asking about top burner pilots? if so there are under the top in the middle beteen each side of the burners 1 pilot does burners on right and 1 on left. oven pilots are underneath you have to remove bottom door look in there at back and look up and you'll see it. if its a electronis ignition range you have no pilots!! glow coils and sparkers....
