Hi All, Yesterday I went for a picnic with my friends and I clicked around 300 pictures there. After coming home when I took my memory card from camera and connected it with my laptop to see the pictures, it was empty. I lost my all the pictures. Is there any way to recover them? Any suggestions will be highly appreciated.

2 months ago, I also lost my 180 pictures from my memory card but thanks to Remo Recover tool, it retrieved all my lost photos within few minutes. Have a look over it.

I went onto the BestBuys site and found a link for compatible memory cards - The SanDisk SDHC isn't compatible with the Canon Poswershot SD750!! Only a 2GB card will work. The Lexar SD and the Kingston Technology 2GB will.

first check to see that it is not write protected (flip the switch on the side). if you cannot read from it and it still will not format, then it has probably been exposed to a static charge and is dead.

did you reinserted it? And the same message stil comming up?
test with a other memory card you have for this camera, take a picture, can you see it?
Is the error message gone?
do you have a card reader on your Laptop/PC or printer? Try to read the pictures from there.
Do you keep on getting this message also with a new memory card?
If you have registered your product at the manufactures website you can check if there are firmware upgrades for your camera.
If nothing helps look tor the nearest service location and contact them.

Even tho some of the larger Gig memory cards, will work with your camera, it seems that they don't interface with the computers and printer like they did before.
I had the same issue with a higher gig, faster card and needed to purchase a high speed card reader and hook it up via a firewire port on my computer. This saved the day.
I plugged the reader into my computer, and it functioned as needed.

Your friends Camera has stored the photos taken on it differently to your camera which means it is unable to read them. Digital Cameras are not as "smart" as computers. The best thing to do is to copy the photos off the card and then format it in your camera which will the "reset" the card and will alllow your camers to use it
