The blade on our Waring Pro FS150 Food Slicer doesn't turn anymore. After taking the blade off and removing the gear drive cover, I found that a steel worm screw had stripped the plastic step-down drive gear that turns the blade. Do you know where I can find a parts list so I can replace this part? It just slips onto a shaft and spins freely, so it's an easy repair. Thanks for your help.
SmallAppliance.com has the part you need. Waring is no help at all. They only sell the replacement blade! Go to this web site: http://www.smallappliance.com/product.asp?pid=5147&cur=USD&cam=waring_parts&sid=18956&mid=34&gid=18971&prdCls=P&PartsPaNu=1&shopBy=Brand
and get the part. Thankfully they carry the motor gear you need. I had nothing but frustration dealing with Waring trying to get this part. Finally a nice Waring tech told me about smallappliance.com. Good Luck!

I found a place here in Canada that carries small appliance parts: Abtec Parts Canada. There used to be an outlet here in the town I live in, but they moved to a larger city further up the Valley several years ago, and I had forgotten about them. They had the parts I needed, and shipped them by mail. I got them in about a week. I say 'them' because the blade mounting screw was also stripped. I had a very hard time getting the blade off to repair the machine, because it threads on backwards! Anyway, both parts cost about $28.50CDN shipped to my door.
Thanks for the help!
