Re: Grind and brew..Grinder will not release and pop out
I have been told that placing vegetable shortening on the bottom of the grinder can help to reduce this problem. I have tried 3 in 1 oil, with mixed results.

You may have to clean the grinder....even more. That happened to me once. First I cleaned out the coffeemaker with the brush, and "dug" out more coffee, then I used this product which you can find on Amazon: "Urnex Grindz Coffee Grinder Cleaner - Urnex 17-GRINDZ12-40." It's expensive, but it really worked well.
My grind and brew is a little different, but when I have this problem, I havve to remove the beans and vaccuum out the bean reseviour. It gets clogged and then it won't grind.
Hi thedalys. you probably have a bad micro switch on your doser. and that just needs to be replaced. If the grinder does not sense that the doser box is full it will keep grinding until it times out.
Guest. Try pulling the dosage lever back one click from the full and push your grind lever to the largest # and see if that helps. Sounds like you grinds are too fine and its clogging the the grind box. If the dosage level is too full it will cycle and dump the brew unit or break the brew drive gears, then you will hear a clicking noise when it trys to make a coffee.
