You may be able to locate a User Manual for your product on the Dymo website. Go to the following webpage and look for your product in the drop down menu under User Manuals:
I'm not sure what Dymo edition you have but just looking at mine, I just opened up the Dymo Label Maker and right above the ruler are several icons, one of which is a calendar. When I clicked on that, the date and time showed up on my label. So I really don't have an answer as to why yours isn't working. Good luck.
Take off the back cover and insert the tip of a pen or paper clip in the little button between the 3.0 volt battery door and the AA batteries. It is "printer reset" around the little hole. This should work. It works unless something is wrong with the ribbon of letters that can get stuck. I'm trying right now to get my to reset using this solution (that has worked previously) but it is not. So it is a **** shoot!
Here's the instructions on how to do that : Quick Instructions on Setting the Date/Time:
To set the current date and time, press and hold down the SET/EDIT
button for a few seconds. Release the SET/EDIT button when the Month
(M) and Day (D) indicators start flashing. Note: The unit will revert back to normal display if no other key is pressed for 10 seconds.
While the Month (M) and Day (D) indicators are flashing press the LOCK button to cycle through the 3 available date formats.
Once you have chosen an appropriate date format press the SHIFT
button to switch between each of the different DATE, MONTH, YEAR, HOUR,
and MINUTE fields. The field that is currently active will start
flashing. To change the field's value press the LOCK button. Each
stroke of the LOCK button moves one value up. Note: If you go past the current year, you will need
to press the LOCK button to cycle through the year 2189 and back up to
the current year.
Once you are finished setting the Date and Time press the Set/Edit
button to return to the normal display. The Date/Time Stamper is now
ready to print.

I reckon just remove all (inc little coin sized one) batteries for about two minutes to empty the memory - do you have a manual - I need one regards [email protected]
