Can not get it paired to iphone 4 - Jabra Bluetooth Headset with Adjustable Ear-Hook Headset

believe that it is because the 5s is digital and the 4 is analog--we install blue tooth systems in cars and had to replace most of them because of the release of the 5s--older blue tooth system are analog so are not compatible with the 5s--as probably is what is your problem

I had no problem pairing my IPhone 5S. I was even able to pair my old IPhone 4. I tried the old IPhone 4 after seeing this post. what kind of problems are you having pairing the IPhone and what version is it? All I did was turn my Bluetooth on on my IPhone then i pushed the black hone button then hit the settings button on the phone screen then pressed the pairing button then pressed the add to button, once the phone is found it should show on IPhone as Elantra on the IPhone and put in the passkey that it shows on the Elantra screen ( factory default is 0000 ) then the screen in the Elantra will show pairing. then it's paired. then you can go through all the setting after the phone is connected. Just make sure before you get into the car your BLUETOOTH is turned on on your IPHONE or it won't connect till it is turned on and the phone won't connect while your foot is on the brake if you have push start.

When you try to pair your iPhone 4, what message does the iPhone prompt you after you enter in the passcode?
Have you tried making sure your iPhone was disconnected from any other headset around you?

if you have any OTHER devices paired remove them.

3 power cycle iPhone
4 attempt to re-pair

iPhone 4 will not pair

the bluetooth of iphone is not compatible with this.get the bluetooth application installed from itunes store to maki it compatible.

Just got off the phone with Apple and Blue Ant tech support.

If everything is workon g on both devices you probably need a memory dump on your headset.

1. Power off both devises
2. Power on iphone
3. Power on blue Ant - not in pairing mode - you should see 1 blue blinking light on MFB
4. Make sure iphone bluetooth is on and searching for devices
5. On Blue Ant, hold both volume buttons and MFB at the same time until you get a fast blinking blue light.
6. Check iphone it should now recognize device.
7. When Blue Ant shows up on phone press it so it completes the pairing priocess

4. when found enter pincode 62872
5. led will light continuesly, iphone say's he's paired.

1 - at present the iphone does not allow you to edit and sms
2- nor can an iphone forward an sms but maybe a third party app will do the job
3- I'm not sure of the problem please clarify
4- Bluetooth on iphone can only 'pair' with a headset or some hands-free car kits at present pairing with other phones/computers etc cannot be done
