upgrading to win 10 from win 7 without using the win 10 cd or gig stick creates a conflict of operating systems in the C drive
I had the same problem thinking that it was a free upgrade and when installed the pc gave me heaps
talked to my IT wiz and he explained that the upgrade caused problems and if I wanted to use win 10 install it from the media after uninstalling win 7
needless to say I am still using win 7 after I uninstalled the win 10 and the pc is trouble free up till now as there are driver problems appearing, win live mail problems and other issues because win 7 is no longer supported by Microsoft and the program is slowly breaking down
AS for you problem c, take it to an IT geek and have him get into the os to clear the upgrade
Then get the win 10 program and have him uninstal win 7 and install win 10 for you
after speaking to a computer repair shop, it was explained to me that the win 10 up grade causes problems as it up grades an existing system( compatibility problems ) . It was stated that if the win 10 was installed properly as the operating system in it's own right there is no problems
I suggest that you speak with a repair shop and see if that information is correct
basically it is this you could not up grade win xp to win 7 even if you had sp 3 for xp so to upgrade win7 to win 10 and not expect problems is a big ask
the problem that microsoft didn't mention is that upgrades to win 10 on win 7 causes conflicts and problems
The correct method is to install win 10 as a full OS and there will be no problems
you can download win 7 from the microsoft (genuine ) site and if there is a problem with authentication call microsoft help line
Before you do anything save everything possible to an external hard drive
Talk with an IT expert would be a good idea before doing anything as there may be a way of removing the win 10 upgrade
There is no way to uninstall it, if you have to you will need to re-install it again. Before you go the drastic route you may be able to fix the problem, depends on what the problem is. You need to be very specific about what its doing, or not doing and if you are getting any error messages when you try to start it.
I had the same message trying vista. Windows 7 offers running older programs in XP or even Win 98 SE mode. That fixed the problem for me. Further I recommend running it as administrator.
Hope it helps.

there will be no win 7 driver as win 7 is no longer supported by Microsoft
to get a driver , you have to go to the manufacturers web site , find a down load for that model that is compatible for win 7 operating system
win xp is also not supported by Microsoft so there will be driver problems there as well
