Replace fuse Kenmore 40188523011 - Sharp R-1750 Microwave Oven

My experience with another brand had the fuse inside the unit, which required taking the cover off. It was a glass cartridge fuse on the circuit board. This is a job for someone familiar with working with electrical devices.

Unplug remove cover the fuse is near the power cord replace with card-board type non-glass fuse as original.

Take the cover off. Make sure you unplug it. You will see the fuse close to where the wire goes in. Replace and but back together.

To replace a fuse, unplug microwave, remove top,"several screws" look to the right where the keypad control board is, now look down where the circuit board is, there should be a fuse clipped in, pop it out and replace with the same current rating, assemble before testing, lethal voltages.

There is an inline fuse that is accessed by removing the outer casing. Follow the power line in to the magnatron and you should see the fuse. Make sure the fuse that you replace it with is the same as the one you removed. If this doesnt work then the magnatron has gone out.

its either a 10-15-or20 ceramic fuse and its marked on the side of the fuse or take it to the hardware store they have this type of special fuse.and they can locate the rating for you

HI. in most cases, this will lead to a failed Heating device(magnetron tube).It would be wise to check the Magnetron cutoff fuse to be sure of its integrity. if the fuse is blown, simply replace it. if the fuse continues to show continuity, replace the magnetron.

usually it is the fuse that blows out.if u remove control panel u cna see 20 amf fuse behind if.chk for continuity.if open replace it. it also could be the cavity thermal cut off must have blown out if cooking is done 4 long period.it is mounted on top of cavity. similar way as fuse chk 4 continuity.if open replace it
