I have 2 plugs on my Logitech ClearChat Stereo Headset Headset I have a table top computer where do I pug them

The headphone plug goes into the green jack on the computer. The mic plug goes into the red jack on the computer. The headphone plug with have three segments on the jack, the mic plug will have two, and they'll both be marked. If you're computer doesn't have color jacks, the mic will go into the one with a picture of a mic, the headphones will go into the one with a picture of a headphone or speaker.

Headphones are working and mic is not working

The mics are of two types: electrostatic(cheap and modern) and old-stiled "dynamic". Old souncards were automatically switching to the mics type. Modern soundcards have to be switched manually.
In "sound properties" you first must check in that mic is turned on, mic volume in max and in all menues avd buttons find something like "mic amplifier boost"and turn it on. It's only non-standart mic tuning option in standart systems. All other problems in defects. Soundcards can be verifyed by so:
(with maximal speaker and mic volume) many times plug in and plug out any reacheable mics and headphones to the mic connection nest (hole), and listen(or recording) resulting scratches. If scratches or other related sounds are abscend(only noise), soundcard is bad. The mic problem may be in "jack left-right interconnection". This useful thing may hang some improper cards. Also that cards often cannot work with dynamic type. And they very sensitive to a manufacturer, and model of mic.
Problem may be also in configuring multimode speaker nests in 5_1(7.1) cards like REALTEC - the mic nest may be switched to the speaker output mode. Open Realtec's control center(in control panel or quicklaunch icon) and check in mic nest to "mic mode" or switch mode from 5.1 to stereo speakers.

I plug it directly into my pc and it wont record on my music programs.Does this mean it is broken? Is there something im missing?.And it was purchased new but came with no directions,is that right?Also...

There is no volume adjustment. You would have to use the volume controls in the PC "control panel". Not all PC's will be compatible with this mic, as this mic is monaural, not stereo. You may have to use a 1/8 jack monaural to stereo jack/plug for the mic. Be sure and set the volume levels for both the mic and headset in the control panel AND UNMUTE the mic.

Volume not sufficient which roughly translated means that nobodycan hear me very well

double click the sound icon, down beside the time. goto options, then properties, then if your headphones are pluged into the pink jack on back of pc use your main card in drop down menu,
put a tick in recording options . press ok.,

then goto options again, and put a tick on addvance, now under the mic volume control you have addvance button click this and enable mic boost or agp. turn the level up very high and try call some one again.

hope this helps

No sound conning out of speakers from wharfdale mixer

Speakers are working OK otherwise?
Do you get sound from headphone jack?
It's probably some pot control not turned up.
Is MAIN OUT turned up
Are speakers connected to monitor out or main out.?
Is gain for mic turned up?
Is there a MAIN OUT switch (on/off)?
Is there a MUTE control on the board?

Line in / Mic jack help

So we're talking PC here, right?

I don't understand what you want to record. Going from the PC Headphone jack to the PC Line IN might be unwise in order to prevent a feedback loop. External (non-PC) source and PC MIC might work but you would probably want to monitor it on headphones again because of possibe feedback.

Does your MIC work?

Right click the speaker icon again and select Adjust Audio Properties or open Control Panel and select Sounds & Audio Devices. Select the box to place the icon on the Taskbar for future use.

Right click on the little speaker icon in your Taskbar and select Open Volume Control, if it's there. From there you're on your own. I have a sound card so I don't know what you will see. Look around, there may be a bunch of audio outputs and inputs with Master and individual volume & balance controls plus one for your Mic. Make sure it's not muted.

  2. Sounds and audio devices
  3. The Audio tab
  4. Then change the Sound Recording Device to Logitech Headphone INPUT
Hopefully this will work

I cant use my microphone on my skullcandy lowrider headphones

OK OK OK, the lowriders use dolby digital with WMA playback, and there is a setting in ur xbox settings where u can change that. BUT UR NOT DONE YET. press the Xbox button, go to settings go to prefrences, go to mic and check the box that sais "play through both." and now u can hear the ppl and talk. however, what they dont tell u is that the mic interfears with the WMA, so all u need to do is just buy an inline volume adjuster at walmart (wally world) for like 3 bux (the one that coems with it is regualted by FDA or wtvr and has no sound which is verry unlike skull candy). THESE headsetes arnt cheaply made at all 2 tell the truth, they shooda came with instructions, but once u get em going, they r insane! i have a pair of turtle beach x5s and its nice, but not as good asthe lowriders. and anotehr feture they dont tell u, if u get a volume adjuster with the "base gain" swicth, it works on the lowriders, so u can add a little rumble and umph to ur headset.

I have a Dell Inspiron 1525 without the webcam .. when I use my headphone jacks in the front of my laptop I'm able to hear but the they can't hear me through my headset microphone. They're only able to...

Be sure that your headphone mic plug jack is plugged in to the mic jack (right-most jack) and not the second headphone jack. If so, check your sound setting in Control Panel and make sure the mic is enabled and the volume slider for it is up.
