The inbox shows I have new mail even though I don't.
If I have 6 new messages it shows 7, if I have 20 it shows 21, if I have 0 it shows 1. I have logged out and I have gone to show uread messages, it says I have none. Well you get the picture.
There are no emails unopened in any other folders. I am using yahoo mail Canada. No there is no spam. Nothing is left unopened in yahoo, nothing is in any other folder. It simply shows Inbox (1) with no new messages anywhere. This happened to me yesterday (the 21st April) too. Four new emails were waiting in the morning. I opened them all and deleted two. Later when I came back, it said there were two unread messages but in fact there were none. The spam is empty. I've tried moving all saved messages into folders but even with an empty inbox it insists there are two unread messages. I've not had this problem before and have used Yahoo for two years. Do you have IMAP on your email server? IMAP is a duplicate of what you have in your email program, if your not deleting the messages on the server but only on your email program then your server space will be full and it will give people that send you email that message.
on your blackberry go in main menu- options- advance options- default services. if you have enterprise mail account setup with personal mail account, it can be the case that at the moment it is showing as desktop services but when you are in there click on main menu and change options to other mailbox which is in your case personal mail account.
that way in inbox you will receive both emails and you can see all together.
but as far as i know, I haven't setup personal account on my blackberry but i believe within main menu you get created another icon like mobile mailbox and where your personal mailbox emails are coming in. if option one doesn't work then please try to look for this new created icon within main menu.

you have any on the last page as late arrivals or in folders they will
show. This has been happening to all of us while yahoo has been
upgrading the classic mail. Yahoo says this is a glitch and will clear
on it's own. Did for all of us. Refreshing the page, restarting the
comp and clicking on the number don't work. Only Yahoo and time. When
it happened to me, my mail alerts also quit working so I had to
continually look to see if I had new mail. It was maddening, then all
of a sudden one day it cleared and my alerts were restored all on it's
own.
