I am having difficulty glueing PVC together. I

you can try pvc glue if you take your time and do a little bit at a time. It will melt the seam back together. Go slow though so you dont stick the wrong parts together. Normal plumbing PVC glue should work.

Just get PVC 3/4 MIP fitting and enough pipe and elbows to run to drain. Glue together with PVC primer and PVC Glue.

If you are comfortable using pvc cleaner and glue, cut the line right where the leak is and use a proper size coupling. Cleaning the inside of the coupling and each piece of the pvc pipe. Apply ample amount of glue on each piece of pipe and inside the coupling, insert each piece of pipe into the coupling.

These shoes seems like it may be possible to reattached soles with something like gorilla glue, but it will probably never stay. HERE you can get shoe glue which can help a lot but may its never a guaranteed. You best bet is prevention next time. Obviously whatever made the soles come off last time don't do it again. Also try protection like a waterproofer. HERE is a good waterproofer which can help from water getting in between the shoe and the soles. Hope this helps.

Self amalgamating tape wrapped several times around and well over lapped would probably do it. Just to be sure I would secure it in place with one or two 'jubilee' type hose clips (the sort used to secure radiator hoses on cars) would probably make a quick fix.
For a longer term repair you could try using fibreglass car body repair paste (the sort with fibres in it - not the smooth filler paste). However it will not still to pvc very well. The surface needs to be rubbed with a bit of glass paper to roughen it slightly and then degrease by wiping with a cloth moistened with acetone (nail polish remover would do) before fibre-glassing.

replace the shoes with the newer updated shoes that have a new material that is less prone to this problem, sand the brake drum to roughen it up and remove any type of oily residue that may be on the drum surface, spray off everything with brake clean before putting it all back together.

Dry all parts completely.
Hang a hose-clamp around pipe.
Apply KS2 UPVC solvent cement uniformly to coat both surfaces.
This is the same glue used to join PVC electrical conduit.
Quickly press and twist together.
Make sure pipe is fully on all the way.
Tighten hose-clamp over solid part where pipe is under.
Allow to dry. Minimum 5 minutes, preferably longer.
The solvent-based cement 'glue' slightly dissolves the meeting surfaces so 'welds' them together.
It may be that the clamp being used is worn or weak if spring-type.

If the break is in the flexible tubing that connects the nozzles it is most likely spa-flex. This is the same size as nominal schedule 40 pvc and can be repaired with standard pvc fittings, primer and glue. Make sure the surfaces are clean and dry before repairing them and also allow at least 24 hours cure time on the glue.

At this point, I'd take it to a glass shop that does windshields and let them try the commercial adhesive.

You need to clean the pvc, prime it and reglue it and this should take care of your problem
