Hi, well this is most likely a Aspect Ratio issue, this can be set via the TV's Menu. You simply need to adjust this aspect ratio, to suit you viewing requirements.

the cord you need is ac or for car cord? in the manual at page 6 you wil find the cord model and code for this.
