Is it possible to automatically switch on BBC Radio Cornwall on my ipad at 8am every morning to act as an alarm?

I don't think that you can update an iPad of any type to a specific iOS version. When you chose to update, it usually auto-updates to the latest version of the iOS that is compatible with your device.

Depends on what iPad you have. The older versions will not update past a certain iOS. They're just not supported any more

The ITV app has not yet been set up to work with the Apple TV or second screens. It will only display on the iPad itself until they update it. There is some word that it may well happen in 2017.

Plug your iPad into a charger (not PC/Mac) and leave charging overnight. Then, try to switch it on in the morning

The Lock Rotation setting may be on or off, and that affects whether or not it will automatically reorient. How to change that depends on which version of iOS you have and whether or not you have set the slide switch on the side next to the volume buttons to control Mute or to control Lock Rotation.

You will need Apple Composite AV Cables to connect the iPad to your television. The cables can be purchased online or at your local Apple store.

You can also stream your iPad to your television if you have an Apple TV by using Apple's Airplay.

check your charger mabye there a hole or ripe in it. but hope its the charger and not the ipad ? I WOULD SAY TAKE IT TO THE APPLE STORE BEST WAY TO GET HELP, ITS FREE AND THEY CAN HELP YOU WITH YOUR PRODUCT.
