SOURCE: my charger for my scooter says abnormal red light flashing

Please check the charging voltage and if this is abnormal the charging circuit is faulty, check the connectors and the links before we can suspect the main unit.If not the battery and terminals needs to be checked as the possible suspect.

Mercury M48 Mobility Scooter. Help with wiring on it please?

Question edited for a lot more clarity including CAPS for your own name!

This is a little known scooter. The only thing I can find is the owner's manual. The wiring is pretty generic to all mobility scooters. Take it in for service.

Mercury m48

This could be throttle pot, motor brushes or motor itself. Could also be poor battery connections, etc.

Mobility scooter - Electrics work, but won't go

hi, they are a nice scooter so let's get it working ,
First check that the freewheel lever is disengaged, in drive mode.
Do you hear a click when pressing the lever to go forward or backwards?

What can happen is the brake located on the side of the motor can seize,,,
Please keep me updated

I cant get the wheel off my mobility scooter

Mine has 1 nut and I just rang an engineer and they told me for mine (mercury m48) it should definately come off once the 1 nut is removed and if it doesnt its ageing and rust. He said what he does is turns the scooter on its side, turns the wheel hammering it until it breaks free of the rust
