Moniter when i pulug in a samsung syncmaster710v tft monitor . we get a message saying something like not opital mode. recommended 1280x1024 60 Hz. can anyonw help me please ?

i have a monitor samsung sa300 18.5" that one of ics burn and i cant read his number its 8 pin and is up of the data port input. two crakter that begin by it , is at **22

You need to use the Fn key and either F4, F5, F6, or F7 depends on model of the SONY to activate the external monitor to be both, internal only, external only.
Then you will need to use windows display setup for the extened desk top, mirror.

u have problem with Display from the Coputer not from the Moniter

try to run from baios mode

and re setupp your display

What happen when you hook this monitor up to other PC that has the video setting 1280 X 1024 60 Hz? Just ant to narrow down the problem before opening up the monitor. You may have logic problem in the logic board. If it does the same with other PC, then open it up and inpsect the inside for such thing as failed caps on the logic board or on the main power supply board, I think more likely to be ROM chip on the logic board is scrambled.

You could try pressing the auto adjust button (simply says 'Auto'), and see if that changes anything...don't know if this will work, but it is a start.

This LCD can work at 75 Hz refresh rate, btw much more healthy for your eyes, you can change it accessing Control Panel -> Display -> settings -> Advanced -> Monitor -> Screen Refresh Rate -> select 75 Hz.

pls press the auto button it will automatically adjust the ratio if it is fail to do that chang the mode by entering in to setup with the help of panel button or if you have mannual just refer it it willl help you.
