On a Verifone vx POS terminal 3730/i realize the term now is 510/3730, software upon startup has to show 3730. i file build under 3730, then terminal error is mondel not config...i know what this means, wrong file build wrong model, but the model terminal matches the file application built. same file template i have used for several months. Any Insight?

Each issuer/processor typicall adds their own software to the POS, so even though it is a Verifone terminal, you'll need to work through your bank/processor/issuer on the support end. If a power reset won't work, your support contact can walk you through a hard reboot.

Call your techincal support.
You need a new terminal!

no connected to internet, check all connections, reboot modem and terminal by unplugging power and Ethernet cables wait 1 min plug back in.

Hello all, I have a pos Verifone Vx510I configured the IP, DNS and Gateway, I did a ping, and it worked.
I selected Troubleshooting and verify all OK responses are received.
When I try use the machine show me the message "Connection Failed".
When I try download TCP show me the message :Connection to Host Failed

A response of 'No *GO Variable' indicates that the terminal was unable to locate a valid Go Variable used to initialize the terminal.
The download installed into the terminal is corrupted. Re-download the terminal. The terminal has not been downloaded. Download the terminal. The download did not authenticate correctly. Re-download the terminal. The download did not unzip into the correct location, therefore cannot be accessed. Re-download the terminal, if this is unsuccessful, verify where the file is being unzipped to. :- )

You have a problem that may be resolved by replacing the inside 3 volt battery and downloading tamper removal software, but if the case has been broken, it would need to be replaced as well. Call Frank @ (775)338-6634

At the sales screen hit F2 & F4 together password is 1 Alpha Alpha 66831.

Then hit the button under the arrow on the left of the screen one time.
choose flash files the clear all files password again same as above.

Then clear Ram files clear all files and confirm and then you are on easy street.

I do not have a pictur eor video but it is not difficult. Open printer door, place paper in printer with the paper coming out towards the keys of the terminal from underneath the roll. Pull slacked paper over keys of terminal and shut printer door.
