Hi Viqtah, (<------ Clever!!)

If you hit the ESC key and get to the main menu there is a Setup submenu. In there you can change the line voltage values coming into the UPS. Sometimes a previous owner will change those values and cause the UPS to fault when properly connected. NOTE: A CERTIFIED ELECTRICIAN SHOULD VERIFY ALL CONNECTIONS ENSURE PROPER PHASE ROTATION.

SOURCE: problem with SmartUPS SU5000I

Before trying to replace an IC, make sure that the battery is capable of holding a charge. If there is more than 1 battery, check all. If it (they) are bad, it will probably be less expensive to replace the unit.

SOURCE: "On Battery" Alarm Sounds when Power Available.

if this comes sometimes and goes, this means that the power to ups is sometimes deviating from the specific ups input range, hence the ups is rejecting it. mesure the input voltagesand frequency with a multimeter and check whether they match the specified ones in the ups manual. aslo with some ups there are switches that you use to set the input voltages or number of phases in the ups input. check the manual to see whetther your ups has such.

Stryker x7000 light source. power Fault,i have checked Power Supply component main capacitor fuse and bridge rectifier all is OK but no display and out put, kindly help me please.

Check and replace damaged component/s at its horizontal scan output section circuit. Check the LOT (Line Output Transformer) too for damage. Replace the horizontal scan output transistor. Check the input voltage to LOT. If the voltage is absent check the feeder resistor; if any. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Surf the site with patience. Tripping off of the Input protection

Need more info. What are the measurements on the input to the UPS. What is the total load you have? What other alarms are displaying? Check the input power to UPS. Also make sure the UPS is and will work for the correct voltage (Input of UPS) some UPS's are selectable voltages.

Smart UPS VT 10KVA fault "Mains Not Available. Input Freq/Volt Out of Range". All phases input and output giving the expected voltages 240V and frequency OK at 50Hz.

Sounds like you hooked up the input to the UPS on the bypass. Either way either way your input is not there. Also make sure you configure the UPS prior to placing online.

What does wiring fault light mean?

The Site Wiring Fault LED will indicate three status:
• Led On: The site wiring fault function is enabled and a site wiring fault is present.
• Led Off: The site wiring fault function is disabled.
• Led Flash: The Site wiring fault function is enabled and there is no site wiring fault.

When the input power is normal the Site wiring fault LED will flash.
• To disable this function, press the Site wiring fault LED button for 10 sec when the UPS is plugged in to wall power and the UPS is off.
• To enable this function, press the Site wiring fault LED button for 10 sec when the UPS is plugged in to wall power and the UPS is off.

Is the wiring fault light indicator lit? This means that the outlet that the unit is connected to is either not properly grounded, or has reversed wiring. First, try connecting the unit to another outlet. If the unit does not display the wiring fault light in the new outlet you will need to have an electrician correct the problem with the other faulty outlet. If it still displays the wiring fault more troubleshooting will be necessary to determine the cause

Powerware 9120 BUS Unbalanced error display

I've had this same issue what it boils down to is that the Power IN is not being distributed properly across the Power Outlets.

Step 1. unplug everything from the unit and power the ups down. If the alarm clears itself the UPS is mostly likely fine. if it doesn't not clear send it in for repair

Step 2. If step 1 cleared the alarm try distributing the decives across the outlets differently.

There are two inverters so two output if everything is plugged into one side (ie a power bar with 10 things plugged into it) and nothing on the other side this could cause the alarm.

hope this helps

Bypass alarm flashing on a Powerware 9125 UPS

it is possible the bypass alarm is flashing because the i/p and o/p are not within range to switch without a break.

they need to be nearly equal in volts and freq so when the ups switches the ups o/p is continuous.

you should be able to check this with your ups software.

Powerware ups mod #PW9120100i

You have to turn socket of ups power cord 180 degrees, because the ups is measuring voltage between ground and ac-line.
