Pictures: after taking 4-5 pictures in a roll my lcd displays "busy" i than have to wait 2-4 secounds before taking another picture... dose anyone know why this happens and how to correct it?

When you take a picture, the file gets placed in a buffer on the camera to wait for the memory card to be able to accept it.
When you take a lot of photos in a row, the buffer fills up, as the memory card can only be written to at a certain speed (usually slower than you can take the pictures). If the buffer is full, you cannot take more pictures until space has opened up. This only happens once the file has transferred from the buffer to the memory card.
There is no way to correct this, though you can get faster memory cards, which can reduce the amount of time an image spends in the buffer.

My canon ixus 75 displays a black screen when in the shoot mode, this happened suddenly while taking a number of pictures, although I can still veiw pictures on the memory card.

Think that you might have accidentally pressed the DISP or DISPLAY button on the back of your camera. This manually turns the LCD display on and off to save batteries. You would then use the optical viewfinder in its place. To turn the screen back on, just press the DISP button one more time.

Taking black pictures

the only thing to do is emove the battery for about 1 minute. Reinstall it and try to reconfigure the settings, especaiily the color attributes. If it still displays a black screen, send it in to manufacturer's repair facility, Sorry.

No picture on lcd screen only when taking pictures

Did you accidentally press the DISP or DISPLAY button on back (it turns the screen off to save batteries). If so, press this button again to turn your LCD screen back on.

Pictures are black

My 4300 works fine until this week. No picture display on the LCD screen. Settings like date, exposure, etc.. are fine on the LCD screen. Able to get into setup mode and the colour menu selection box is fine. This shows that the LCD screen is working fine. Prior to this happening, I notice that when I took pictures in zoom mode, the picture turn out to be orange. I suspect this is caused by electronic failure. Light entering the lens cannot be transmitted to the LCD screen. Some photoelectronic stuff had reached its MTBF (mean time between failure)? Is there a way to save this camera?

Casio Exilim EX-Z3 Displays turns off when taking a picture

I have the exact same problem. Casio wants the camera mailed in and charges $79 for a new LCD screen (if that is the problem). Any other suggestions?

I can't take a picture with the camera. What should I do?

The camera may be full. Check the picture counter on the display panel. If the camera displays "00" the camera is full, erase some pictures or transfer the pictures to your computer and then erase them. Another option would be to install a SmartMedia card to store more pictures. Also, when the camera is connected to your computer you can't use any of the controls on the camera itself. See Chapter 7 of the user's guide for instructions on taking pictures from you computer.
