SOURCE: what does error f04 mean on a bosch washing

It means that the water is not draining fromthe machine inthe time allowed by the controller.

1. Switch off the machine and disconnect the mains power.
2. Remove the filter and make sure that the filter is not blocked and is clean and clear of all debris. Clean as required. Note that depending on the machine type you may get a lot of water coming out of the filter when you remove it if the machine has not drained successfully. Note that if the machine has stopped and not fully drained then you may be able to drain out the excess water by removing or disconnecting the waste hose and laying it on the ground in a tray.
3. Proceed by checking the drain hose for proper connection and kinks and make sure that it is not blocked.
4. Also check that the main waste drain pipe, if you use one, is not blocked and clean if required.
5. Reconnect the power and switch the machine on.
If the problem persists then do the following.
6. Switch off the machine and disconnect the mains power.
7. Check the electrical connections at the pump and make sure it is operational.
8. Remove the connecting hoses, and expect water to drain out and make sure the pipes are not blocked with debris or any object blockage.
9. Makes sure the pump appears clear and that the impeller looks in good condition.
10. Reconnect the hoses and then reconnect power and switch the machine on.
11. If problem has not been corrected, then remove the pump and check that the drive coupling to the motor is OK and that the motor turns OK. If all is well then replace the pump.

SOURCE: I have E3 error code on a Bosch washing machine

"E3" on a Bosch Maxx means the door is not closed properly. Either there something preventing it from closing properly (blockage) or there is a fault with the locking mechanism.

SOURCE: My brand new Bosch is not draining and is showing E:13 error code

Put the washer on cold and run "TWO" cycles. There is too much soap or fabric softner.

SOURCE: I have a Bosch Logixx

Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,

Same as 'F16', 'F34' stands for 'door lock (fault)' ;-0)

This is indicating that there is a problem either with the door lock or the door locked sensor requiring a service call, sorry ;-0(

If this has assisted and/or clarified the situation for you please consider a 4 thumbs up on our rating.
Thanks and good luck!

What does error E17 mean how can I fix it

Inspect the tube for obstructions as it may cause the dishwasher/washing machine to overfill with water. Remove any gunk and run a test wash. If the problem still persists, check the float and switch are operating correctly and replace the float switch if required to solve your worries.

I just bought my washer today and it won't finish the first cycle. It is showing "E17" and won't drain. What does "E17" mean and how can i fix my washer. Help!!

When the washer shows error code E17 you need to turn the tap fully on and check that the supply hose is not bent or jammed up, next make sure the filter is clean. Then make sure the water pressure is not too low. After you do all that, run a load with no clothes in the washer and use one cup of white vinegar and the code will dissappear

E17 error code

Got an E17 Error today on a Bosch 6450 Series washer (the user manual says Bosch Vision 300/500/DLX series). Here's what I did to fix the problem.
- Tilted the unit back, propped up the front with some 2x4 (lying flat; that's all the room I had).
- removed 3 screws (Torx 20 I think) under the front lip. Then slid the cover (below the washer opening) down. This revealed the pump to empty the washer, a manual door lock opening pull rod, and a drain line (?)
- Looking through some holes in the front panel I saw some water on the bottom of the washer... but I spent a lot of time with the pump cleaning it out first (some zipper pull got in there and made a lot of plastic shavings). - Ultimately I got my hand the bottom of the washer and soaked up the water that I could find. That's when I realized
- there is a micro switch mechanism at the bottom near the front. This must be the "AquaStop". The mechanism contains a bit of styrofoam that floats up on any little amount of water that collects under it and triggers the microswitch. So, I removed that unit, wiped the water up... put it all back together. No more E:17 error.
Still don't know how the water got there in the first place though.
