AT&T phone and answering machine combo 9351 need instuction manual to reset time and date!
Need a instruction manual to reset time and date on this cordless AT&T 9351 combo phone and answering machine,not conserned withcodes just time and date setup at this point !! I tried the menue but that just changes the day (examp: Mon.,Tues. etc.) cannot figure out how to change the time or anything!

Why does the date and time change automatically after I have programmed the date and time on my phone?
If you are subscribed to Caller ID from your phone company, the unit's date and time setting will be automatically adjusted when caller information is received. If you do not wish for this feature to work, press [MENU][#][2][2][6] on the handset, then press [0] to select "Manual" and press [SAVE]
Do you still have the manual that came with the machine? It should have the original setup instructions. I looked on HP's site and couldn't find anything that specifically answered your question, but if you don't have the manual any longer, you can download a copy from HP. It should have what you need:

If the system is disconnected from the AC power it will not operate. Your announcemen and messages are retained in memory during a power failure but you will need to reset the clock. See the instructions on the bottom of the unit. If the message window displays CL, you need to reset the clock. See the instruction on the bottom of the unit.
I'm almost positive there's nothing wrong with your phone "ssandra". You set the day/time/year etc. on the base (answering machine) separately from the handset . . . you press a series of buttons. I've done it several times, but now after a move I can't remember how you do it, and I can't find the instructions I had. That's actually why I was on this forum (looking for the instructions). Since you posted your question last year, this probably can't help you now. But I thought I'd answer anyway . . .
