Printer is printing job as a mirror image

HP OfficeJet ProK5400
Print jobs have suddenly started as printing as a mirror image. We are using the insight millennium program and foot leveler program (programs used a lot by chiropractors and others in the health field)
When printing out the scans - the graphs, pictures and text are all coming out as a mirror image. Do not know of any reason why this should suddenly start to occur. Would really appreciate some help with this as am at a complete loss. Many thanks, Sue i have the same problem, aslo just happened after an automatic update occured on computer. everything, even the printer test page, prints as a mirror image.

I would have said Gotta be setting in your print dialogue box, but if the test page comes out as mirror image, must be
a setting on printer control somewhere

SOURCE: Printer is printing job as a mirror image

go into the properties setting for the printer, go to advanced tab, then to the prinint defaults button on that tab. When you click on that - if you go to the advanced tab within there, you will see "mirror image" and i bet it says "ON" - click on the word mirror and it opens up the ability to set this back to off. Hope that helps!

HP J5780 printer is printing backwards

Hello,

You may have the Mirror image turned on.

Open a job to print. Select File>Print. When the Print window opens, select Preferences, then click on the Advanced tab.

Look for the Mirror Image option. If it says ON, click on it and change it to OFF. Then click OK.

Mirror Image is mainly for iron on transfers.

Thanks for using Fixya.

Prints backwards

Hello,

You have probably turned on the "Mirror Image" option.

When you go to print and the Print window comes up, select Preferences and then the Advanced tab. Look for the Mirror Image option and Disable it by clicking on the underlined option and change it.

(BTW, the Mirror Image is used to print iron-on images for t-shirts, etc.)

NOTE: If you don't see it on the Advanced tab, look on the Effects tab.

Print mirror image gel printer GX700

The mirror image setting is in the printer properties/ printing preferences. You can either go to control panel/printers/properties, or when you press print, and the window pops up, in printing preferences you can choose the mirror image setting.

Mirror image printing

When you first click on print a window opens with boxes at the bottom. If you choose printing preferences another box will open where you can turn off mirror image printing.

What would cause it to print everything in reverse?

You have probably got the Preferences set to "Mirror Image".

Next time you go to print something, click on Properties or Preferences when the Print window comes up.

Click on the Advanced tab. Look for Mirror Image. It should say Off. If it is ON, click on the word "On" and a drop-down menu will appear to select Off. Then click OK at the bottom.

You can then cancel the print job, or go ahead and print it out to verify that the printing is OK.

Mirror Image is used mainly for T-shirt iron-on transfer images.

Thanks for using Fixya.

HP 7680 is "mirror" printing. Latest driver has been downloaded again. Mirror printing feature is "off,"but it's still mirror printing. Anyone have a solution??

Open Printer jobs and delete any print jobs pending. Restart Computer.

Otherwise, uninstall all printer software, disconnect printer, restart pc. resinstall software

Hp officejet pro l7680

To solve this problem, you need to set the mirror image to 'off' under the advanced tab of the printing defaults and under the advanced tab of the printing preferences buttons. We had this problem for some time and since doing the above this has stopped.
