Green Light Under Timer Stays Flashing and Will Not Go Out
I have a Mitsubishi WD-52725. FIrst problem is that one day all of a sudden I can no longer pick up any Digital Channels with an Outside Antenna (Air not Cable). Was working fine. One of the helpful technicians suggested I turn off the TV by unplugging it. Said that would reset the TV like a computer that gets hung up. I took his suggestion, unplugged the TV for about 5 hours and when I turned it back on the green light under the timer started flashing and whould not stop flashing. When it does this, nothing works. TV Buttons, Remote, nothing. I tried 4 different times to push the reset button and that does not allow the green light to go off and allow me to turn on the TV. Just stays stuck blinking green light. I even tried unplugging again, left unplugged for a hour and again I cannot get the light to stop flashing.
I heard that this might be a problem with this product and that Mitsubishi may have a recall on this unit? Is this correct? How can I fix this?
That addresses the DM board. What are your thoughts about why I could not pick up any digital channels all of a sudden when everything worked fine for weeks? I've been told it could be bad caps on the digital tuner board. Is the digital tuner board the DM board or is the digital tuner board possible the PWB Signal Board?

The terminal 1 and terminal 2 PWBs also have problems with the caps as does the FMT and the signal Pwbs so either of the four could cause the loss of didgital channels. The entire chassis should be rebuilt when the caps become an issue as more are likely to fdail unless all are changedThe terminal 1 and terminal 2 PWBs also have problems with the caps as does the FMT and the signal Pwbs so either of the four could cause the loss of didgital channels. The green light flashing is an error code. Count the number of flashes and it will tell the issue. Write back once you've counted the flashes. Also, was the TV having any issues before this? Was there a recent storm or power surge?
Call MITS, and try to get a tech to assist. Green timer flashing is "waiting for CPU to boot". Normally 70 seconds after plug-in. If doesn't stop, then not booting, and you won't be able to turn on. It only boots after being unplugged.
My Mitsubishi WD52725 will not turn on...the timer light is blinking. We pushed the reset button, unplugged tv. Just got off the phone with Mitsubishi customer "service." After answering numerous personal questions, and being on hold for several minutes, I was told that the only solution was to push the reset button. Duh! We'd done that several times with no change, which is why I called them! BIG WASTE OF TIME!!!!
