Does it not power on at all.. logo screens, backlight, powerlight etc? If the answer is no... remove a/c adapter then battery.. hold down power button for at least a 1minute then put battery back... plugin A/C adapter then try to power on.

The monitor needs to be replaced. I had an LG LCD that did this luckily it was still under warranty. Contact the maker and have your receipt handy. Otherwise buy a new monitor. Monitors tend to be replacement only
