I had a inflatable rental company and in order to clean my balls, I got 4-5 large trash cans and poked holes in the bottom, put balls in, poured soap, clorox, etc. and then rinsed.

There are commercial companies like Goldstar that specialize in ball pit sanitization or you can invest in a ball pit cleaning machine. If you have an institution with a ball pit you should make sure to clean the balls daily, or at least once every 3-5 days.

A few days ago I took my kids to a restaurant that had a ball pit and now they're starting to complain that they are feeling sick. Is it possible that they could have caught something from the ball pit?

I don't want to scare you but if the place that the ball pit was in doesn't take care of their ball pit then they become breeding grounds for germs. You can be proactive and contact the manager of the place you were at to find out how often they clean the ball pit to rule it out. I hope the kids feel better soon!

To clean a ball pit can I just soak the balls in a water and bleach solution?

Some balls might have small holes in them or cracks that if completely imersed in water can become breeding grounds for mold. To be on the safe side you should never soak them, use a spray bottle to coat them in the solution to disinfect the balls.

Are ball pits safe?

It's not easy for anyone to claim that Ball Pits are definitely safe. There are can be potential games in many kids toys and games.
Ball Pits are great fun for kids but you should be aware of the following risks:
1. Ball Pits can be filled deeply with balls and so you can't see the bottom. if there are any sharp objects etc at the bottom, there is a risk you will miss them.
2. Its hard to clean Ball Pits and if you are in a public play area, it's possible that the Ball Pit might be a haven for bacteria.
3. There is a risk of injury as kids tend to jump really high into ball pits and arent' always sure where they will land.

Soap dispenser not pumping. should i send this or is there an easy fix

Inside the dispensor pump cartridge is a small ball that acts like a valve; it gets stuck or gummed-up,or dirt particles may lodge against it therefore the ball does not seal the valve hole and no pumping occurs. You can disassemble the cartridge if you have the patience, or contact price pfister for a replacement. Note: the handle is not part of the replacement; the cartridge is a general part that fits many styles of decorative matching fauctes. Goodluck, Macgivor
