H650e USB Headset not installing I have a

H650e USB Headset not installing I have a Logitech H650e USB headset that is not able to install the "included drivers within Windows 7" Everything I see states that Windows will automatically install the headset however I just get a message that the drivers for the device could not be installed. I go into the device manager and try to update the driver there, same problem, no drivers found for this device. Everything else works in my USB ports... thumb drivers, keyboards and mice, external hard drives. Just the headset is the problem. Any thoughts?

SOURCE: ClearChat Pro USB headset asks for driver upon install

  1. (Vista) Confirm your system restore point first. It needs to be prior to what you're going to attempt here. If it has a recent restore point, great, but if not, make a system restore before you do this, in case it doesn't work.
  2. In the Control Panel, click System, Advanced System Settings, click System Protection, and click System Restore.
  3. (Optional) Try updating your usb drivers before trying the final step, reinstalling the Vista Service Pack 2.
  4. Here's how to verify if your USB (drivers) in the Device Manager are up to date.
  5. Open the Control Panel, System, Device Manager.
  6. Open the Universal Serial Bus controllers (usually at the bottom of the device list).
  7. Right-click, on your first USB, Updating Driver Software. It will look for the update or let you know (which may take a bit of time) that it is up to date already. Repeat this process on all the USB devices.
  8. If that doesn't work, try this: plug in your headset, and keep it plugged into the usb.
  9. In your Windows Updates, re-install the Service Pack 2. After Vista reboots your computer and finishes the install, unplug your headset from the USB and then replug it in. What you are likely to see is a Windows message indicating that it sees the software and is installing it (minus the windows pop-up message of "where's the driver disc for it?").
  10. Now the trick is to get the headset to play the microphone through the speakers appropriately!

Hi ambahaziq,

Try here:

http://www.jabra.com/CP-CP/support/Pages/JabraPCSuite.aspx

Install the suite, it has integrated drivers that should make it possible.

Really hope it helps, I had a similar problem last year.

Kind Regards :-)

Iriver h340 hdd

The only results from a search for h340 is from Logitech, and this is a quote from Logitech support.

"Your Logitech USB headset doesn't require any drivers or software, other than the default device drivers built into your operating system."

If your device is indeed a Logitech headset then you might try this:

Unplug the headset
Click on start
Right click on My Computer
Click on Properties
Select the hardware tab
Click on Device Manager
Look for your headset and uninstall the driver
close all the windows and reboot
after it reboots plug the headset back in, the correct drivers should then install automatically.

Okay, so i've tried to plug the headset into all usb ports and no sound will work, what the ***** going on yeah.

You need to download or install the drivers for the audio. Did the headset come with a CD? IF so install by using the CD. If not go to www.logitech.com and download the appropriate drivers for your headset. Can also go into system, hardware and install/search for driver. BTW do you get a message that new hardware has been installed when you plug in the USB plug to your USB port?

Logitech Headset m/n A00008 will not do voice-over video editing

Wisdom_share

To solve your headset audio problem you would need to let the PC install the your device driver. Once that is finished right click on the speaker icon to the right bottom and select the Playback Devices option. You should see your device headset icon right click on it and choose Set as Default Device and that you would guaranteed to you work for you. Good luck to you!
