Duet doesn't stop filling with water - Whirlpool Duet WFW9550 Washer

Unplug the washer for 30 seconds to attempt to reset the Duet washer control. if your fill hoses have a flood stop check valve turn the water off, disconnect the hoses and run a little water into a bucket. Then reconnect the hoses to your washer and do a Duet Washer Quick Diagnostic Test.

If you have to shut water off to stop fill then you need to replace the fill valve.

The FH means water tap closed. If you were happy with using cold only you could get a Y-piece connector and join both the red and blue inlet hose to the cold tap.

there are two water valves above the soap drawer, that are sping loaded to stay shut when power is off. if the water pressure to the machine has increased, sat due to an increase in main pressure from the water board fixing a leek further up the supply, then this could force open the valves. try turning the stop valves at the inlet pipe end, away from the machine, down a quarter turn and see if this stops it.

This problem is either attributed to a defective water inlet valve, or defective pressure switch. An easy way to determine which one may be causing the problem is to unplug the washer, but leave the water taps on. If the washer continues to fill, you have a defective water inlet valve. If the water stops, I would recommend changing your pressure switch.

does it do it if you wash in cold also?could be the fill valve is bad. Try this set the washer for cold, cold and see if that happens

The F 11 code is a water fill code. Check the water to make sure both lines are on. If their on then turn off take hoses off the water inlet valves in the back and check the screens. If your screens are clean then you probably have a water inlet valve problem. Are you able to open the door to get your clothes out? If not I can tell you how to get it open.
