Nintendo DS won't power on

I have a Nintendo DS which was working fine until a Supercard and passthrough (which had previously worked fine) was plugged into it. The DS now doesn't power up and when the charger is plugged in the charge light comes on then straight back on again. A second DS was tried with the Supercard with the same result. I left the batteries out overnight and tried them both but with the same result. Any clues??

Neither ds will power up, with or without carts in. They have totally died, so I don't think it's something on the SC.

What I'm after is anyway to get the DS's back up and running!!

    Thanks anyway.

Same problem here, but used a M3 Real, the DS is only one day old, and it worked great just hours ago. Now it won't turn on, let alone charge.

PJ If youve installed the sc OS following instructions from http://eng.supercard.cn/soft_scdsone.htm , leaving the "MSFORSC.NDS" file and "scshell" folder at the root of the card then chances are the Card itself is bad. This is not uncommon and happens especially after a few dumps. If its not to old try an exchange or see if a friend has one and attempt theres in your system.

How to use a sd card on 3Ds

I have a Nintendo 3ds console and a supercard dstwo flashcard, I want to download some GBA roms
and play it on my console with the feature of supercard dstwo! Supercard dstwo supports playing
GBA and SNES emulator games on 3DS/ 3DS XL/ DS. At the first, I can not find where I should go
to download there games until my friend told me! The downloading website is coolrom.com. It
provides various kinds of game roms for downloading, all free, just pay a little time for kinds
of disgusting ads and possible chance of wrong-downloading. That's a great place for sources!
Share it with all of you, my friends!

Hi there,

It sounds like you updated your Nintendo DSi console and your R4i card is no longer working. The best thing to do is to buy a card that works with the newest 1.4.3 firmware. Cards that do this include:

Check out R4DSRevolutionCards.com (not a shop) for information about R4 cards / R4i cards in general, they explain the differences between loads of different cards. My favourite is the Supercard DSTWO though. I recommend DSCardWorld.com as a shop but NDS-Gear.com apparently has some good reviews too.

Good luck!

Hey there,

It sounds like you updated your Nintendo DSi console and your R4i card is no longer working. Also the R4i Gold is a fake card, so won't work on the newest firmwares on DS consoles. The best thing to do is to buy a card that works with the newest 1.4.3 firmware. Cards that do this include:

Hey there,

It sounds like you updated your Nintendo DSi console and your R4i card is no longer working. You can't reverse a firmware update on a DSi console. :-( The best thing to do is to buy a card that works with the newest 1.4.3 firmware. Cards that do this include:

Hi Toria,

This problem is likely because the latest Nintendo based firmware doesn't actually support old R4 and fake R4i cards, only very specific R4i cards support it (namely the official R4i 3DS). You can probably swap your R4i card for a newer card like the Acekard 2i, Supercard DSTWO, Cyclo DS iEvolution, or frankly any of a number of cards that will work on the new DSi XL and 3DS consoles. I would personally recommend the Supercard DSTWO, though, I use it myself. It also has GBA emulation built-in which is kind of awesome if you want to play older games. The Acekard 2i is cheaper, but doesn't have the GBA functionality.

I'm not sure where you're based but if you're in the US, use "dsmagazine" as a voucher (I found this on an online DS news site) for DSCardWorld.com, they're authorised retailers of the Acekard and Supercard - I think also a few others. NDS-gear.com is probably better if you live in the Europe or in the UK though since they have cheaper shipping there. They still stock authentic cards so you should be all right either way.

Good luck, and please kindly upvote my answer if you've found it useful! :-)

Open error for nds one i

Alright, I can barely understand you.
So, Download a new kernel from the supercard website and put it on your memory card.
Either your card is full of games.
Either your not using a supported supercard for the DSi.
Buy a R4i and sell the supercard for the R4i.
